The archive you downloaded should contain a folder. Extract the mod's folder to your "\mods\" directory. (Normally this will be C:\Steam\steamapps\common\red faction\mods\MODFOLDER for Steam users, and C:\games\RedFaction\mods\MODFOLDER for non-Steam users)
NOTE: We've tried to standardize the distribution format of maps/levels on FactionFiles.com (which is also the source for in-game map downloads). These steps may not work for you if you obtained the files from another source.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before you install a single player level or campaign, you should determine whether or not it's packaged as a conversion mod. A good rule of thumb is that it is a conversion mod if the archive you downloaded from FactionFiles contains a folder - in which case you should follow the Installing Conversion Mods (RF1) guide instead of this one. If it contains just some .vpp files, it's likely not a conversion mod - in which case you should follow the steps below. If you're unsure or are running into trouble with this, it's best to join the Red Faction Community Discord for some assistance.
The current version of the program is 2016 and was updated on 01/04/2017. It's available for users with the operating system Windows 2000 and posterior versions, and you can download it in English. Since the software has been added to our selection of software and apps in 2016, it has obtained 13 downloads, and last week it had 0 downloads. The details about the install size of Red Faction are currently not available.
I highly recommend you use Dash Faction with this mod. The textures won't look right without it, and it also adds other graphics options you may want to use. You can get Dash Faction from Dashfaction.com
Welcome to Red Faction Armageddon is an interesting third person shooter video game which is developed under the banner of Volition for Microsoft Windows. This game was release on 7 June 2011. You may also like to download DOOM 2016.
Sometimes developers try to convince fans and newcomers to take a demo of their upcoming game for a spin by offering some exclusive weaponry, character outfits, or even early access. But sometimes they choose to think outside of the box. With the upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon, developer Volition is appealing to the inner child in all of us. The sick, twisted child, that is. The demo for Armageddon has been released on Xbox Live today, and once it reaches the one million download mark, every player will unlock a cuddly 'My Little Pony' unicorn named Mr. Toots. His specialty? The ability to shoot incredibly powerful rainbow lasers. Out of his butt.
You have to hand it to Volition, they've certainly crafted a download bonus capable of attracting attention. We've already taken a look at the various Armageddon pre-order bonuses in the latest trailers, but extra weapons are par for the course at this point. Most shooters are now offering retailer-specific content, but very few give players the chance to combine pink unicorns and unparalleled destruction.
Remember, you can do your part in unlocking the mysterious unicorn by downloading the demo today, but in case you need a fancy Mr. Toots background to tide you over until then, Volition's got you covered on their site.
The series is known for the struggle of the working people (usually miners) of Mars fighting for independence from off world oppressors. Such as, the foreign corporations that extract their resources/wealth from the planet, the Ultor Corporation (first game) and the collective world government of Earth, the EDF (in Guerilla/3rd game). The second and fourth games differ in story to the aforementioned games, with two being set on Earth fighting a despot with the fourth primarily fighting an alien species as opposed to a human faction.
To tie in with the release of Red Faction: Armageddon, Volition released a downloadable mini-game. Red Faction: Battlegrounds is a top-down twin-stick vehicle-based shooter which is available via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The mini-game was produced by Juice Games for Volition.[14] The release date was April 5, 2011, beta invites were sent to a select group of PlayStation Plus subscribers on September 21, 2010. The Xbox Live version became backwards compatible on Xbox One on June 23, 2016.[15] Red Faction: Origins is a feature-length television movie produced by Syfy that coincided with Red Faction: Armageddon. The channel announced the film on April 16, 2010.[16] Volition confirmed the title of the film and its May 2011 release date on July 19, 2010.[17] The film is set in-between the events of Red Faction: Guerrilla and Armageddon.
All you have to do in order to install this pack is unzip the pack (that you can download from here), drop the files on the Main Red Faction folder next to the game Executables and run the game. The modder also recommends downloading Pure Faction in order to play the game at higher resolutions on modern systems.

We've given a surprising amount of coverage to rainbows throughout the years here at Co-Optimus. However, we've had an equally surprising lack of unicorns. Today, the two warm fuzzy icons collide with Red Faction: Armageddon. Apparently, one of the most devastating weapons known to humankind is a rainbow-hued unicorn fart. Doesn't make sense, you say? Well, check out the video below. If you want to wield the appropriately named Mr. Toots in the game, be sure to download the demo. If you and 999,999 other people do the same, Volition promises to include the unicorn as a playable weapon. Because, hey, why not?
This week there were way too many releases to do the download scene full justice, so we'll try to get to G-Rev's shooter Strania next week, as well as the likes of Dino D-Day (Dinosaurs! In World War II!), Dungeon Hunter and the various PSP Minis and DSiWare nuggets that invariably look rubbish at first glance, but turn out to be rather good.
There's a fair chance that Machinarium passed you by when it first emerged 18 months ago. That's the problem with the indie/download scene: keeping up with the dozens of really interesting titles that crop up all the time is like a full-time job in itself. 2ff7e9595c
